Ex Sanofi Pasteur, Pfizer, GlaxoSmith Kline and Quintiles, also established innovative service models in health care & Bio-pharma industry. Assignments have included strategic development of new products, testimony on the management and economics of scientific enterprises, contract issues and product development. Served in leadership roles in research, technical operations, quality and global regulatory affairs.
Dr. Karmakar holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from NEIST-CSIR, Jorhat. He is an accomplished scientific professional with 20 years of academic and industrial research experience and expertise in Organic, Medicinal and Combinatorial Chemistry. Prior to Joining in Novick Biosciences, Dr. Karmakar had a long association with GVK Biosciences and TCG Lifesciences (formerly Chembiotek). In both the organizations he had managed some of the key collaborations and built strong client relationships with high quality delivery and scientific excellence. He also has several awards and honors to his credit from overseas pharmaceutical clients. He has several scientific publications in journals of international repute to his credit.
